TpDH International Review

The Technology for Human Development International Review is published by Engineering without Borders (EWB). They constitute a knowledge and experience sharing space on sustainable human development that involve a technological component through the analysis of practical cases, expert’s interviews and reference documentation.

Goals The intended goal is to promote research by Latin American and Spanish universities in technical solutions in order to solve the issues to access to basic infrastructure and services in developing countries.

Context ISF promotes field work practices, graduate projects and thesis that aim at complementing or integrating cooperation projects and programmes in development countries. In line with this knowledge generation and sharing, ISF organizes a multiplicity of seminars and university teaching programmes in Spanish universities as well as the Conference on Technology for Human Development and the Awards for Graduate Projects and Thesis.

Themes Each issue is monographic. The topics targeted by the International Handbooks on Technology for Human Development are of technological and social interest and they specifically focus on the application of the technology to the progress of human development:

Audience The International Handbooks on Technology for Human Development target an academic audience in the field of Engineering in Latin America and Spain. They offer practical and useful resources to students, professors and researchers as well as a publication channel of the results of technological applications for Human Development. Additional targets are NGO members with a need to acquire knowledge on technical aspect of projects in developing countries, as well as research and documentation centres, public administrations and business or corporate professionals with lines of work and interests on developing countries.
